Abstract This research report presents the results of the Euromedia Project, "the first international perspective on the teaching of Media to 14-16 year-old students in the 1990s in Europe", according to Andrew Hart. The main topic of this comparative study is the differences and similarities in media education in various countries. Teachers from Norway, Great Britain, Hungary, Russia, Germany and many other countries relate their experiences in teaching media to a variety of classes. |

Süss, Daniel Daniel Süss was born in Zurich, Switzerland in 1962. He received the diploma as an elementary school teacher in 1983. From 1983 to 1989, Süss studied psychology, pedagogy and communication at the University of Zurich. In 1992, he began working on his doctoral thesis, which was finally awarded by the Swiss Association for Communication and Media Studies SGKM. Süss has worked as research assistant and lecturer at the department of communication at the university of Zurich from 1995 to 2001 and developed the area of Communications and Media Psychology. He is now Professor of Psychology at the University of Applied Sciences, Zurich.

Hart, Andrew Dr Andrew Hart was Senior Lecturer in Education and Director of the Media Education Centre at the Research and Graduate School of Education, University of Southampton.
