Abstract The making of a trailer is part of a Media Studies course in Film Distribution and Marketing. For the UK public exam at the age of 16, the GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education), the students are asked to select a film they wish to market, imagining that it is being re-released for a particular occasion. Andrew Burn describes the work of some students who chose to make a trailer for Hitchcock's 'Psycho'. |
