Abstract

This project investigates the forms and purposes of Media teaching in English in secondary schools (ages 14-16) in the South and South West of England. It also aims to provide an account of the forms and purposes of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in English teaching through the lens of appropriate research perspectives.

Dr Andrew Hart was Senior Lecturer in Education and Director of the Media Education Centre at the Research and Graduate School of Education, University of Southampton.
