Schaumburg, Heike Heike Schaumburg is currently working as an associate researcher in the Media Research Centre at the Freie Universität Berlin. She completed her dissertation on instructional change through the use of laptop computers in January 2003. She finished her Ph.D. in Psychology at the Freie Universität Berlin (Dr. phil.).

Issing, Ludwig J. Ludwig J. Issing is professor of educational psychology and media psychology at the Freie Universität Berlin. He is also managing director of the Media Research Centre at the Freie Universität. He has worked with educational technology initiatives in Gemany and all over Europe (e.g. "Schulen ans Netz", "E-Study Europe").
