Multi-media material on "Sold Out!" - a documentary.

When it comes to sport, fairness and mutual respect are essential. Yet particularly during football games, unfortunately, rascist outbursts and attacks occur time and again. The documentary entitled "Sold Out - From the Street to the Stadium", made by John Buche, looks at the kind of racism African football players encounter when playing in a European team.

"media wien", the Austrian partner involved in the European MediaCulture-Online project has put together teaching material based around the film "Sold Out", using different media, which is available on the following pages. It concentrates on the topics of emigration, racism and human rights. The material is intended to provide teachers with valuable help in the classroom. Practical tips for lessons round off the teaching package.
