Abstract

Migration, globalisation, and cross-cultural experiences are the topics of Roy Stafford's article. He discusses the concept of immigrants' identity and questions the meaning of 'Britishness' or 'Englishness' in modern, multi-ethnic Britain.

Stafford, Roy

Roy Stafford works as a freelance provider of media education services and offers training for teachers wishing to increase their knowledge and understanding of media education in schools and colleges. He has extensive experience at all levels of formal education, but primarily 14-19 and adult education. Roy Stafford and colleagues from 'in the picture' run the Media Education Certificate course at Trinity All Saints College, Leeds.
